Workplace Social Networks
Workplace social networks strongly influence the behavior and performance of employees. They are formed by the informal relationships between colleagues. The organization’s formal hierarchy shows which employees report to each other and which are part of the same team. The informal network shows which colleagues go to each other to ask for advice, ask for support, or influence important decisions. In my research, I explore how workplace social networks enable or constrain entrepreneurial behavior and Corporate Entrepreneurship.
